- Read Lydia Teh's Do You Wear Suspenders? The Wordy Tales of Eh Poh Nim in about less than 24 hours over a couple of days. Learnt some new phrases that I've not previously heard of. It may be a series of unseemingly disconnected stories about a woman named Eh Poh Nim, but there are some running threads in the book. Liked the ending, haha. Didn't take too long a read, and I liked it too.
- Also finished Urban Odysseys: KL Stories. Some of the stories left me baffled with no clean ending. I don't know if it's because I'm used to Roald Dahl's neat tying up of endings, but that's just how I feel.
- Busy week at work with the boss not around from illness, rest of the office in piggy flu panic and the big boss keeping me busy in not a really good way. Could be a lot worse.
- Went for morning swim at the public pool Saturday. Didn't stay too long as one of us had a wedding to go for, which was just as well cos the pool we were using was closed for lessons by the time we had showered and changed. Definitely a better idea than doing it in the evenings if not for the weekend RM4 entrance fee, not to mention the natural Vitamin D we were getting... :P. If only we could hit someone up who has pool access... LOL.
- MTV World Stage at Sunway Lagoon's Surf Beach Saturday. Didn't stay the whole hog - left out of exhaustion when Hoobastank was performing (I hated that Reason song, anyway). Also too tired to check out Kasabian. Oh well. I wasn't emotionally vested in the line up anyhow. I probably should've gone home and back again after I got the tickets in the afternoon. And the breaks in between acts were long and draggy because the VJs are not about to give people in the back tee shirts anyway.
