- Sibling's gone for some tech-related training session/conference (dunno which is it) for the day (left early this morning with a friend). I just want to see the swag (if any).
- Scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast, testing out the new Tefal non-stick frying pan that Dad bought from Tesco this week. The pan works (as it should) - I didn't use a drop of oil on my eggs, always a Good Thing :) Haven't done the sunny side up egg test though (like they always show in the ads).
- Went to the bank and the post office. Basket - got charged a 50-cent stamp for what usually costs 30 cents because my mum used the airmail envelope and not the solid-coloured one. Mentioned it to her already.
- Took the car to the workshop because I found the steering alignment a little off (my mum wouldn't really notice these things, so it's really up to me as the one who's driven it for the first few years :P) - only to find that the front tyres are screwed (unevenly worn treads) from the screwy alignment, so those had to be replaced, as well as the valves, and realigning them as well. At least Mum paid for the whole gamut as she's the one who now drives it to work. Perodua service centre was too busy and would have to wait until 2 p.m. Wah lau...
- Properly started on The Man Who Ate Everything at the workshop, while waiting for them to work on the car. So much for a quiet day at home.
Want to nap, but really can't.Tidur jugak, too bad I can't do a Sleep on Demand (SoD) during the week...- Dinner at 1U's delicious with a couple of the girls - service was a little slow at times, but the food was not too shabby (as usual): we shared the beef bolognaise with angel hair pasta, garlic mashed potatoes and the Caesar salad with smoked salmon. Bill came up to RM85.10 (I don't remember the cent-age), plus two drinks. My curiousity about the place is satiated.
