Went to Midvalley after dinner Thursday to (kind of) return the foldable umbrella I bought from Espirit last month as one of the thing-ies broke. The people at the store told me that they'll send it back to HQ and will call me about it. Can't help but think that it means I'll never see it again and the money I spent on it. I know that the exchange policy is one week, but it hasn't rained daily until this month. So shoot me.
Went past Krispy Kreme but didn't buy anything because I didn't see any crullers in the display case, which I take to mean that the machine used to make them is not yet repaired. Hmph.
However, did buy myself a hot choc at Starbucks and a tee shirt for RM18, which I don't mind so much since it's not the "buy 2 drinks and then buy the shirt at RM18" deal. No sign of the elusive penguin and bunny tumblers in both the Gardens and Midvalley stores.
I was never more pissed at myself when I saw the iPod nano accesory (which is like the cheapest and the most comprehensive protective package I could see that was not selling for 3 digits) that I bought a couple months ago in KLCC (some more with the kanasai customer service - *ptui*) is now RM35. So I bought another to replace the scratched up hard plastic screen.
I also collected the monthly free samples from the Clinique counter in Jusco - a tiny pot of the Superdefense SPF25/PA+++ (which I wanted to try) day moisturizer and a sample sized black Lash Power mascara.
