- Only found out yesterday that Ben Elton's got a new one out called Meltdown, which is about the financial crisis. His last one was about the loss of privacy because of the internet. Can't say he's not a topical novelist.
- All nighter at the office from Thursday night to Friday morning. Oy vey. I think it's the first time I've ever stayed up all night, even if it is coerced. Only good thing was an early start for the weekend.
- Finished listening to the audio version of Craig Ferguson's memoir, American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of An Unlikely Patriot (I could never remember the book subtitles properly, I got two words wrong in the entire title) while wiling the night away in the office. Great book, now some of the things he says and does on the show make sense. Also doesn't hurt when the authors read their own books for the audio version.
- Also finally finished listening to Denis Leary's Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid. I don't mind the F-bombs, but if you do, then don't get it. I thought it was entertaining.
- Bought the new Starbucks planner for RM50 and Windows 7 Home Premium for RM370. Oy.
