Choyer Salon World of Pampering, Bukit Damansara

Using one of the last vouchers I still have in my possession (that's not already used or given away), I called for an appointment here at Choyer Salon World of Pampering along Jalan Medan Setia 1 at Bukit Damansara for the 2 hour body wrap, destress aromatherapy massage and Thallasso bath.

Snag was my period came last night and I was a little concerned that I might have to reschedule, so I called ahead to ask if I could still do it. Flora (my therapist of the day) said I could still do it, no problem. So fine.

Having been to the nearby Chef & Brew before, I at least know the general area, but I still needed to look for it on foot as I had parked about a block away (grabbed a parking spot as soon as I saw one).

After filling out the usual paperwork, I was taken to the room at the back, which had its own shower. Convenient.

Best I could do with the phone camera - it was pretty dim.

Anyhow, got stripping, got scrubbed down with salt scrub, got wrapped and steamed like a siew pau with the heat wrap. Got my face cleaned and massaged while I was cooking under the plastic and terry cloth. Hopped into the shower and rinsed off the salt scrub and then the body massage. Never felt better even if it was only 90 minutes.

Had to skip on the bathtub owing to the menses, but oh well. Tub looks nice, though.

If only I could afford this kinda thing for real... (it's worth RM400, by the way).

I also liked that Flora didn't try the hard sell on me, which would've been severely annoying.
