Library of Congress' Twitter archive

[I know it's old news, so sue me]

So the Library of Congress is going to archive everyone's tweets. Well, everyone that made their tweets public anyway. Imagine everyone's "what-I-ate-for-lunch" tweets in said Library. Oh, the banality. But I guess it's a way to keep track of societal mores of the time, like Google Zeigeist.

When they're archiving these tweets, are they storing everyone's tweets (as in, the whole world's) or just tweets from Americans?

Wonder if you can specifically ask for someone's archived tweets...

For those people who kept theirs private but want the posterity - this would be a good time to make them public...
