First last day of work - Last, last day.

Yesterday was the "fake" last day of work because my immediate boss calculated the date wrong (don't ask - these things happen). Not one to want to wreak too much havoc, fine - it's just one more day, that's the thing about quitting a job without looking for another: no new job to start right away.

Frankly, it was about the same as any in the last couple of weeks. Except that I don't have to wake up tomorrow and do this all over again.

Had a nice lunch with the colleagues at Bayu Timor - at least I tried to with the Vietnamese beef noodle soup (which was not bad, btw) and teh tarik (watered down, not recommended) while everyone else had some version of the day's set lunch menu (hilariously enough, my ala carte came before the set lunches). Was recommended some Rinafort from the pharmacy in hopes of sleeping through the night. 

Didn't even see the big boss before I left as he had left the office for a meeting elsewhere. Just as well, really - not sure if he knows I resigned. But I did say my goodbyes to everyone else who was there. 

Got caught in a slight crawl at the one traffic junction I travel through (tree limb on the road, got struck by lightning). Came online to find that everyone's source of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on YouTube got suspended (NO!!). I was so happy that it was my last day, now I'm gutted that my favourite YouTube channel is suspended :(

It might be my first, and will not be the last.

Health-wise: Add dry cough to the list of symptoms. Aiy yai yai.
