Weekend so far

Drove home Friday with a weird noise under the bonnet, only to find that the timing belt's fraying and falling apart. Daren't drive it out even to the nearby workshop to get it replaced as it might not make the drive. I couldn't even do it on Saturday as it was Labour Day, so had to wait until Monday. Sigh. 

Went to Ikano to check out the Crocs warehouse sale Friday night - bedlam would be the best word for it; it was as if they were giving the shoes away or something. Fortunately came away with NOTHING because nothing caught my eye. Ended up with dinner at IKEA - RM8.50 for chicken chop was not bad but I didn't like the sauce too much... which might explain the slight stomach discomfort afterwards.

Zara warehouse sale was also another dud - I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't a short drive there. 

Other than that, I've mostly been home bound as there's no point going anywhere when sales haven't started yet... and watching episodes of Shear Genius and Top Chef Masters online, which begs the question: how does anyone watch anything online that YouTube would take down because of DCMA?
