- Raya on Friday, which slowed things down around the country in general from Wednesday as people are leaving town in droves, which leaves the natives to roam and wander, haha.
- Found out that there's a Freakonomics movie coming out soon in America, which if you don't know is the screen adaptation of that book Freakonomics
. (You must subscribe to the "Meet the Filmmaker" podcast). This means I'll have to track it down myself at some point because there's no way GSC is gonna bring it in. (Meeting the head of Acquisitions confirms it for me somewhat).
- Found out what "that's what she said" mean. Hmm.
- Found a place selling freshly-made chapati. Always a good thing.
- Found out that Digital Mall has a free shuttle bus service.
- Checked out Levain Boulangerie and Patisserie in KL on Raya Pertama.
- Also found cheap parking to be had on Jalan Bukit Bintang, woo hoo!
- Meetup that lasted from 9 something in the p.m. Raya Pertama to 2 something in the a.m. Raya Kedua. Good times.
