Friday: Chapati for lunch at Spicy Corner. The matriarch seemed impressed that two Chinese kids can appreciate chapati, let alone order it on purpose. It was when we found out that they don't have roti canai on the menu (really?). If nothing else, the sides that came with said chapati was not too bad also lah, but I'll have to remind myself to order double for lunch :P And after some poking around the website and the blogosphere, I could stand to try a couple of other things on the menu the next time I'm there, like the Madras tea and what not.
Went to Tropicana City after dinner instead of the second home and bought bubble tea for dessert.
Saturday: After RSVP-ing on Watsons Malaysia Fan Page on Facebook for a free Watsons member card, I went down to Pavilion to collect. I also crossed over to Fahrenheit 88 (formerly KL Plaza) and had a ice blended mocha from Pacific Coffee Company which I didn't like because it's made with chocolate ice cream instead of chocolate syrup or melted chocolate. Also checked out the MBPJ Tanglung Festival at the Buddhist Lodge and bought dinner, essentially - char kuey teow and more bubble tea. Remind me never to get anything other than MILK TEA for bubble tea - that's what happens when I try anything new: it comes back to bite me in the ass.
