Well, she left on Wednesday and is due to be home on Monday. Did some laundry, did some cooking, also ate out. But it's also noticably quiet. Ahh, the peace.
- Mum's on holiday in India the same week as the Brand-Perry wedding. Took me long enough to think about that. I would really hate it if it came up when she comes home on Monday, though. Kinda.
- Saw Dame Helen Mirren shoot big guns on Red. I highly recommend watching it.
- Had most expensive macaroons bought to date.
- Still craving for red velvet cake, which is inexplicable because it's basically chocolate cake, dyed red, with cream cheese frosting on it. Wanted to get the one from Just Heavenly, but it wasn't available at the Jaya One outlet.
- Had the mille crepe cake from Huckleberry Cafe in the BSC Times bookshop - it's good and not too heavy.
- Changed the language settings on Facebook to "pirate" - let's see how long I let it be.
- Got cut on two fingers from the aluminium portable laptop desk. Now trying not to bleed out.
