Went to the second home today to check out the New Year's Day Carnival happening at the park outside the new wing. Flashed the ONECARD for a book of coupons (for the food and the games), and also a swag bag, which contained a face towel, 5 sachets of 3-in-1 Lipton tea, and bizzarely enough, 5 little boxes of Knorr ikan bilis cube stock and a Transformers action figure (a Decepticon, if you must know).
There was also a booth for ONECARD members to store their stuff. A service I had to use when I realised I can't guarantee that my two bags (at this point) would be safe. Very useful, that.
Also had free bottle of Vitagen, ice cream and 5 sticks of satay.
Half the games are for children under 10 or it involves getting wet and/or dirty or wear me out even more in the heat, so there wasn't much left to try out in the end. But I did line up to walk in the clear plastic balloon, as pictured below:

Everyone was given "5 minutes", or however long it takes for people to walk around the giant hamster ball on the tarp-covered grass.

I thought the fish adoption was a little senseless; so no, I didn't bring any home. Not even worth feeding the cat(s).

Body painting booth - the nail art was just behind it.

Just because ;)

Tried the zipline that went across the lake; got to my turn quickly as I was the next adult in line, haha.
Didn't stay too long cos it was bloody hot outside and I ended up with a heat headache when I got home. And I thought I was plenty hydrated, but I could be wrong.
Firsts: Giant inflatable hamster ball and ziplining. The latter was fun until I suddenly remembered that I had height issues right before I was supposed to get off the platform. Sheesh.
Nipped back indoors before I totally passed out and dumped the rest of my unused vouchers somewhere in the mall. Happy New Year, everyone.
