It's Mid Autumn. It's the mooncake festival. It's still hazy out, so I'm not sure if there'll be kids and the young at heart wandering the streets with their fancy schmancy lanterns, like these Angry Birds lanterns. It used to be just the standard dragon-rabbit-goldfish shaped candle-powered lanterns, now there's the cartoon-character-du jour shaped, battery powered lanterns.
On the other hand, there are now many more varieties of mooncake to be had as well - the snow skin ones, the fruit-based ones..., which I don't mind because I'm not exactly a fan of the old school mooncake anyway. Bought some jelly ones this year from Q Jelly which are not too bad.
Whatever the plan is, have a good one.
