Picked this up in Jakarta. I couldn't really believe my eyes when I saw it on the supermarket shelf. So I got one to try out. The idea is to add water to make a drink, like a chocolate-flavoured milk drink.
The co-taster (the sibling) remarked, why can't condensed milk in Malaysia come in a squeeze bag? Err... cos it'll cost more?
According to the label on the back, the recipe is 4 tablespoons to 150ml of "air matang hangat" (quick peck around Google Translate says is warm or boiled water).
| No, it's not my hand. |
As it turns out, it resembles chocolate syrup, both in colour and texture. 150ml of water is also not exactly a lot, and it tastes like a little like diluted chocolate milk, but that might have more to do with us not measuring out the water before adding in the condensed milk.
PS. Made another mug another day according to directions, found that it has a nutty flavour.

Now I wonder how it'll go with Milo or coffee...
