Spider-Man: Homecoming

Cashed a free movie pass and ended up watching Spider-Man: Homecoming. (It was either this, or Dark Tower) Hadn't really planned on watching this because of the Spider-Man fatigue (hadn't watched a Spider-Man  movie since the second Tobey Maguire one and I totally skipped the reboot with Andrew Garfield.)
  • Oklah, Tom Holland is youthful looking enough to pass off as a 15-year old. At least his American accent is not as gruff as Hugh Laurie's and Benedict Cumberbatch's. More importantly, at 21, young enough to fulfill his contract for the sequels and show up in other MCU movies as necessary.
  • Watching him vlog his POV of the Captain America: Civil War big battle was both adorable and amusing.
  • I'm glad the casting is pretty diverse in this movie; it's not just all white people...
  • Finally, a Spidey costume where the eye visors actually move...!👏👏👏 Movie technology has finally caught up with the comics and cartoons. That was one of the niggles I had with the earlier movies. That said, the Stark Spidey suit is pretty badass.
  • I don't think I've ever seen Zendaya with so little makeup on.
  • Hannibal Burress as the bored gym teacher is stupid hilarious.
  • I was wondering why does the name Tony Revolori sounded so familiar to me... he was the kid from The Grand Budapest Hotel
  • Seriously, either his costume is waterproof, or his phone really damn waterproof wei...
  • Yeah, finding out the father of the girl you've got the hots for is your baddie is very the awkward.
  • First the husband as JARVIS (which eventually became Vision), and now Mrs Bettany as the voice of Karen, the Stark Spidey suit AI. Heh. Ok, had no idea it was Jennifer Connelly.
  • Ms Paltrow was in the movie for like 2 minutes, tops as Pepper Potts. I wonder how much was she paid for that amount of screen time...?
It was entertaining for a free movie. I laughed quite a bit. I can't wait to see the subsequent Spider-Man movies, since the ending showed his Aunt May walking in on him wearing the Stark Spidey costume, which means she now knows. This is gonna be interesting.
