Week 33, 2017

• Sephora has a new store opening at Sky Avenue up in Genting on 1st September, with the usual store opening promos and most importantly, the cash vouchers and goodie bags for the first 400 people in line. I wonder if Nadia Heng will be there to emcee....? 
  
  
  Am I thinking of going? Maybe. Sky Avenue is a cable car ride away from Awana, I don't see why not. But the time to drive there from PJ, park at the Skyway/GPO station, etc. My other niggle is that it's also a public holiday/long weekend, so there might be a line formed by the time I get there from people who had been in the area from the night before, etc. So I'm not sure. I suppose if I did get out-kiasu-ed by aunties and didn't get a cash voucher, I could always just walk around Sky Avenue (haven't been back since CNY period when it was mostly empty), take a walk around GPO and bugger off home. 
• Yay, new season of Project Runway! The longer that show goes on, the more erm, accessible the sponsors get: hello, Pilot pens and JC Penney?! 
• Had no idea that Ray Romano's IRL twin sons (yep, they were the basis for the twins on his TV show) worked on different late night shows until he pimped them both out on Kimmel and Corden in one week. 
• Massive new Swarm UI update this week. Got most of the new stickers just by upgrading the app, haha. Some of the others are going to be tough. How am I gonna find a Greek restaurant and baseball field to check in? 
• The local Kitchenaid distributor announced an upcoming warehouse sale next weekend. I anticipate there will be chaos. 
• The people behind the memobottle came out with another project, which involves a smaller, purse-sized bottle with matching accessories. Errr... I think I'll just wait for the knockoff version to pop up lah.
