Ahmed Ahmed: Double Trouble

I think the only time I ever saw Ahmed Ahmed's comedy was from watching the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour clips on YouTube. I didn't even go the last time he passed through Malaysia, which apparently was 6 years ago. What the heck, had to sign up for MAS Enrich just to get the members' discount. (Tickets weren't that cheap at RM150, RM120 and RM90; got the midrange ticket because from previous experience, the cheap seats in PJLA were cheap for a reason)

Since the last time I was at PJ Live Arts for a show, you can now print out show tickets on regular A4 paper, which I guess was a step up from the thermal paper. 

This time I made sure I got a seat with an unobstructed view. 

Andrew Netto took the stage and did 20 minutes (?). Didn't know he went on hiatus, but good on him.

Ahmed came on and did at least an hour on stage, about 30% was crowd work. The no recording thing was seriously enforced. 

I didn't realise (should've, though) the audience was also filled with local celebs... until Ahmed talked to someone who was "Malay and Irish" and it turned out to be Sarimah. And from the pictures of the meet and greet afters that was posted online.

Well I hope some people got their money's worth...
