Week 3, 2010 - Bye, bye Coco...

• Finally collected the Jeep from the shop Monday afternoon - bill was over RM900. Fortunately Dad paid for it with a blank cheque in his front pocket.
  
  
• Found a couple more audiobooks for the iPod (George Carlin's posthumous memoir, Last Words, read by his big brother Patrick; and also Richard Castle's Heat Wave, from the show Castle). Speaking of reading, I should go through my physical stack of TBR books... oy.
  
  
• A little sad that The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien is over after only 7 months, and this was after over 5 years of waiting for Leno to step down. Major WTF. The Craigslist ads for both the show and Conan himself are freaking hilarious. At the same time, can't wait to see what Conan does next in the fall and if the Masturbating Bear will make an appearance.
  
  
• Started cleaning the room a little on Saturday, but was overwhelmed by the stuff on the top bunk (most of which are not mine).
  
  
• Word is that the house'll finally be renovated this year after years of just talking about it. Have no idea when and where we're moving to in the interim.
  
  
• Bought a ticket to see Mono on the 30th at KLPac, just because it was RM90 and I know where and how to get to KLPac. And I wanted to see what the fuss is about.
  
  
• Finally used the voucher Dad gave for a free slice of cake from Secret Recipe. Can't remember the name of the cake I decided to try, but it was delish... even if I didn't get to finish it (the sibling polished it off the chunk before I could).
