Can you quit Facebook?

May 31st is Quit Facebook Day, as these guys have decided here, because of the data security issues of late.

I'm not sure if I could give up Facebook myself, mostly because I've been on it for almost 5 years - a little while before it was open to the public. I vaguely remember pre-Vampire, Mafia Wars, Farmville Facebook. Where you could only sign up if you have an American student email address. It was that long ago.

My Facebook experience these days is pretty mild - I don't have too many games or apps and the security's as tight as I could at this point in time.

Speaking of social networking sites, I've still got my profiles on Friendster and MySpace, which I'm still hesitant in deleting. But I finally deleted the hi5 account, which is not saying much - I just got fed up of receiving the reminder emails, that prompted the deletion.
