What I did this Merdeka

• Was up until 2 a.m. reading Yasmin Ahmad's Films, written by Amir Muhammad in response to her death last year. Can't be anymore Malaysian than that, I reckon. 
• Saw a couple episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show (working on a blog post about it)
• Pretty much didn't hit a mall today, which is quite the achievement... sorta.
• Hang out at a Starbucks? Sounds a better idea than it is in reality.
• After dinner drinks at Murni Discovery.
