Happening Saturday

Drove to Bangsar and finally didn't have to pay through the nose for parking (found street parking near McDs). Paid two hours parking and took my own sweet time wandering the area. No, I didn't climb all those steps to the different boutiques that are not on street level.

Stuff I bought

• Razor blades for Dad - he liked the new Schick razor I got him last weekend
• Cheetos from Village Grocer - gone up RM2 :(

Freebies I got

• Two more Schick Quattro Titanium razors - from one exchanging one of Dad's old ones, the other from buying the aforementioned blades (promo price was RM23.30 for 4 refills and they were giving away ANOTHER free razor with every RM12.90 purchase of a Schick product at that particular Caring Pharmacy outlet). It was the same promoters from last weekend, but they let me change it anyway. Also took the precaution of not writing my own details this time as well.
• One Stabilo Mini Eye ♥ U ballpoint pen (in green), a miniature sample-sized Jumbo colour pencil - from the Stabilo promoters doing their thing outside Cziplee.
• From the Sinar FM cruisers (which made a stop outside Cziplee): Bottle of Minute Maid OJ and canned Livita energy drink, Tourism Malaysia's "Shop Malaysia" canvas tote bag, and a paper bag of Stabilo product - two different erasers, bookmark, bille 508N needle point ballpoint pen

Dinner was at Bella Italia in SS2 (couple doors down from the Public Bank) with the 'rents - the meal wasn't terribly memorable, and I had horrendous diarrhea the last time we were there donkey years ago from lactose intolerance of the carbonara sauce (a sauce I've never had since). Sadly, there were no more white people running the place anymore, just your average foreign worker manning the place. We're not likely to go back a third time unless Dad forgets (it was his idea).

Dropped Mum at home and went to the SSTwo Mall with Dad to check out the Times Bookshop Opening Book Fair (finally, a Times bookstore back in PJ!) happening there. Also renewed my membership for RM10 for two years at the store upstairs. SSTwo Mall is not fully occupied, some of the franchise F&B outlets are already open, parking's free at the moment. Only bought one book from the sale cos I'm spoiled from prices at the Big Bad Wolf Books sales.
