I think I slept on my shoulder wrong and I was in pain when I woke up today. It was agony.
Shot out a tweet for suggestions for places with decent shoulder massage (not full body, mind) near me that didn't involve driving to a mall and paid parking. Someone tweeted back a couple of places in SS2. I'm not one to go for massages, let alone pay for them because I'm horribly ticklish and squirmy.
Long story short, I ended up at Chow Yang Foot Reflexology as it's the only one where I can see people getting massaged from out on the street - which is a good sign, no?
Was given the choice of lying down on one of the lounge seats or the massage chair - went with the latter. The guy laid out a towel on the head rest and the rest of me (yes, I remembered to wear a strapless bra) was covered in a towel and contact was mostly made through the towel, so no skin-to-skin contact and possible hanky panky. And the Chinaman masseuse had his way with my shoulder blades, trying to get out the knots that have been in my shoulders for years. I managed to mumble to him that my left shoulder was killer and he worked on it. Entire massage experience personally hurt like hell, but mileage may vary. People were falling asleep as the masseuses were working on their feet - there was even an old guy snoring as well.
Paid RM26.25 for a 20 minute shoulder massage (plus 5% government tax)
While I still can't turn my head to the left, but at least I have some use of my left arm than before I went.
