This is a little overdue as I had finally finished the pint I bought a few weeks ago (no, I didn't finish it myself).
After Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream (another must try), another American late night talk show host (namely, Jimmy Fallon) also has his own Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavour, Late Night Snack, which came out earlier this year. I suppose I'll probably only see Schweddy Balls next year.
Flavour: Late Night Snack
What's in it? "Made with Fair Trade Vanilla bean ice cream with a salty caramel swirl and fudge-covered potato chip clusters"
Two cents: Unlike the pure white vanilla ice cream that you normally get, you can visibly discern the specks of vanilla bean in the ice cream. Which I'm okay with. Didn't get the salty caramel swirl too early, but when you get there, it goes really well with the vanilla bean base ice cream. I think it's the pint I got, but the fudge potato chip clusters (which is salted) in the first third of the pint were soggy. Yes, I mean soggy in the middle; there was no crunch. So was a little disappointed there. But the ones I got toward the bottom were crunchy, go figure.
Conclusion: You have to try this at least once, but I personally won't necessarily would buy this again.
PS. It seems that they've ripped off another ice cream maker - check out this link.
