Banana Boat Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum SPF80

After not having used Banana Boat products for a long time, I broke down and decided to try out the Ultra Defense Broad Spectrum SPF80 sunblock just because it was cheaper than my usual choice of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF50 sunblock and I thought I would try a Banana Boat product to see if there was any improvement since I last used it.

The price of the Banana Boat SPF 80 is under RM35 at Caring Pharmacy, while the Neutrogena SPF50 usually retails at above RM35 at other pharmacies but there's usually a sale on the Neutrogena brand, it's not too bad. I usually stock up on the latter whenever the price is under RM30.

But back to the Banana Boat SPF 80...

Smell: There is a scent, but I personally don't mind it so much, although some people might.

Application: Been using it mostly on my exposed arms - shiny on application and there is still a light sheen a few hours after and a little greasy and sticky to the touch. So you understand why I hesitate applying it to the face.

Conclusion: Won't be repurchasing this too soon, even if it's SPF80. And I will finally wash my hands of the Banana Boat brand.
