Got my Sigur Ros CD!

Finally got my CD purchase from CD WOW! in the mail today... and now I don't have the heart to cut the shrinkwrap open.

Update: well okay, I finally made one incision across the top.

Don't Read Unless You're Bored - Got my new Coldplay CD!

Finally got my copy of Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends today at the Rock Corner branch at The Curve. Was faced with the choice of paying the "Hong Kong" (so the guys there told me) edition, which was the standard jewel case or the "UK" edition (the cardboard gatefold version). The latter was RM5 cheaper.

Being the cheapskate, anglophilic yet green person that I can be, I bought the gatefold edition not just because of the it's RM5 cheaper, but also because of space constraints and it's allegedly a "extremely limited special edition" of the album (so alleged by Amazon.com).

Unfortunately, no free poster (didn't see any tacked up in the store anyway - so it was a long shot), either :(

At the moment I'm playing the CD for kinks, but I'm not ripping it for the iPod because the iTunes version of the album that I downloaded was a little better because the hidden tracks were also listed.
