11 Pandemic Annoyances

Why 11? Cos it's all I can come up with.
  1. When the Selangkah app (Selangor's contact tracing system) or the equivalent does not work.
  2. When an establishment has no way to register other than having to write your details down, and scrambling to get your own pen out because you don't want to use the provided pen.
  3. Leaving the house without a mask, so now you have to have spares in every bag, glove compartment, office...
  4. Seeing used disposable masks as litter, which was gross before is now double the gross.
  5. The initial price gouging on pandemic supplies.
  6. People who don't seem to know that QR code reading apps exist (Oklah, maybe phone too old or basic to install or whatever, but if you have a more sophisticated phone, it's no excuse in this day and age lah), and slowing everyone else down by having to manually write details down.
  7. People who put down fake names and phone numbers on the contact tracing paperwork, etc. Eh chao hai liddat stay home lah, no need to go out.
  8. Are people driving SLOWER? It feels like that. Even though schools and driving schools are closed (at the moment).
  9. Are you still supposed to let old folks ahead of you outside of the designated old people shopping hours ah?
  10. The daily DOSH reports. If you don't know what that is - congratulations.
  11. When the business has their own record taking system which doesn't work as seamlessly.
  • I'm calling out M&S (Marks and Spencer) on this: having people fill out their own form on small pieces of paper, which works if you have a few people coming and going, but not when a lot of people are coming and going. I don't know why people have to fill in the time out part of the form when you can't find mine when I want to leave. I feel bad for the staff that have to enforce this at the door.
  • AEON also has people scanning their own QR code, and it's not just the department stores, but also their pharmacies (AEON Wellness) and the AEON-owned Daiso, so the next time you want to go to Daiso, you have to ask yourself, is it worth whatever you want to get at Daiso?
Let me know if I'm missing anything else in the comments.

    Sephora SEA's New Beauty Pass

I just got the email about Sephora's new Beauty Pass programme and I. AM. ANGRY.

At least in this revision of the programme they specify a minimum dollar (or RM) spend in order to level up and not some weird math problem with points you have to solve to get there.

    Here's the highlights:
    1. If you start as a White Card holder: Instead of RM750, you would now need to spend RM900 to level up to Black Card.
    2. Black Card holders are not spared: If you don't spend RM900 within a year to requalify, you get levelled back down to White Card. RM900/12 = RM75 a month.
    3. You get Gold Card status if you spend RM4,500 and get to stay there if you spend the same amount in one year to requalify. RM4,500/12 = RM375 a month.
But for people like me who grandfathered into Black Card status from way back but also don't spend all that much unless there's a sale or some multiple point thing, this is just too damn much. The only perks I've enjoyed is the freebies (in the email fine print), odd event and sale. I would rather get something for cheaper than to buy more for the sake of the PWP gift (which are mostly just deluxe-sized samples you could get through other means). RM900 in one calendar year is feasible, I suppose, but it also depends on what you normally buy from there.

I'll be darned when this launches I'll get Gold Card status (even for a while, but I highly doubt it). (It says that members who've spent a cumulative RM4,500 between 1 Oct 2015 until 15th Oct 2016 will get Gold status when it launches on the 24th). But even if that happens I can't keep up. The only difference between the Gold and Black status is the complimentary custom makeover (which is great if you've got events to go to?), special event access and EARLY ACCESS to the private sale, which any kiasu can appreciate.

To be fair, the prices there aren't that cheap to begin with, but I imagine it won't be hard or take that long to level up if you really want to.

Am I still mad about this? Heck yeah, I am. No, you are NOT taking my money unless I want you to.

If nothing else, at least the Sephora personal shoppers now have some motivation for their side gig while not entirely spending their own money.

    About the Sephora Malaysia/Luxola acquisition...

When I read on Buro a week or two ago that Luxola got acquired by Sephora, my first thought was: Oh shit. Actually, my real first thought was...

    via GIPHY

While I'm usually all about change and would not one of those people who would complain (too much) about new things, but this wasn't exactly great news for the customer, and here's why:
    1. Prices for some brands (Mario Badescu comes to mind) were cheaper on Luxola than it was at the local Sephora store. Now we would have to pay local Sephora store prices online. *face palm*
    2. Local economy - The local online Sephora store has rendered some people's "Sephora personal shopper" side business that you sometimes come across online moot...?
MY biggest bugbear from the whole acquisition news: The points system.

The old Sephora points system in Malaysia was that for every RM5 spent, you would get 3 points; once you reach 250, you get 10% discount voucher on your subsequent purchase.

Under the previous system, you would only have to spend RM416.67 (give or take) to reach that goal, or move up to Black Card if you're a White Card holder. Which is not difficult, even for someone like me, who got the Black Card within a couple of years.

NOW - to reach the same 250 points, one would have to spend RM750 because it's RM3 = 1 point. What. the. FUCK. Luckily there's no deadline on how often you need to reach said 250 points, but still.

One might admit that it's great for people who live nowhere near a Sephora store, but at what cost?

Luckily I had scaled up to Black Card a while back under the old points system, otherwise it would take me forever to do the same now because I'm one of those people who mostly shop during members' sale, and even then I don't spend much (aka not their best customer). As much as I enjoyed some of the other perks like the occasional free sample or member sales, and the customer service, but...

I totally brain-farted about the cash rebate saved up in my old Luxola account that I'll never get back now. Ah well.

Shitty Zalora Malaysia Experience: The Conclusion

After over 3 months of sturm und drang (picked the phrase up from Tim Gunn - thanks!) with Zalora Malaysia, I can finally close the chapter on this black spot in my personal online shopping experience.

For some inexplicable reason they could not bank in the cash refund into my Public Bank account (which I have online access) and asked for another account number. The only one I still have to my name is the Bank Simpanan account, which I don't have online access to but otherwise you can't miss transactions. So I gave them that and after having to drive out to a branch where I don't have to worry about parking and updating the old bank passbook, I finally saw the refunded amount in my account.

    Never again....

    My shitty Zalora experience

Zalora is like the South East Asian version of say, Zappos in a sense that they sell clothes, shoes and other accessories, has free local shipping, choices and variety of items you can buy on the site. Zalora also have a presence in other countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, etc. The online ads are everywhere it's ridiculous; they even have money to blow on actual TV spots.

I was looking for a particular item that's not available in Malaysia - the Lagu beach friendly beach blanket that I saw on Zalora Philippines (because it's a Pinoy product). So I decided to check the Malaysian one, and it was listed on there. So I signed up for the newsletter and with the RM20 discount on RM80 minimum purchase, I ordered that and a tchotchke to reach the minimum. That was on 9th July. I was expecting to get my items sooner than later.

I should've seen the red flags: most of the usual payment options (Paypal, ipay88) didn't take when I tried to pay. I had to do the online money transfer, which was unnecessary if I could pay through Paypal or ipay88 to begin with. WTF.

First, I got an email saying they had run out of the tchotchke item and that I would get store credit on the original price. Another red flag.

The website has also been buggy - not only I can't access to my orders on Zalora, but now (as of today) when I go back to check, it says "You have placed no orders"? WTF?!

I've been bugging their customer service (on the Live Chat option) on the status from the second week (which is not a habit of mine - I trust people to do their jobs properly), and even then, the Live Chat keeps crapping out and I have to keep restarting. WTF.

The best I've got was the "because the item is coming from overseas, it will take up to 14 business days" BS. Guess what - it's past 14 business days this week and coming to a whole calendar month and I still haven't gotten my order. I've gotten a couple of reps telling me that it should be here "this week" (ha). I would've cancelled my order already if I can get it back in actual money and not get anymore motherfucking store credit.

I've waited absurdly long times for stuff I buy online as it's part and parcel of online shopping when you're in Malaysia. But this is just plain ridiculous.

I don't know what's up with their logistics, but they really need to straighten that shit out instead of spending so much on advertising. WTF. It's the Philippines, not the bloody Antartic! How long can it possibly take for an inanimate object to travel from The Philippines to Malaysia? I've gotten items faster that's travelled further!

I know they've only been around a few months, but they need to shape up like, fast.

To the better known bloggers with rave reviews of Zalora - may you all get hit with huge bags of dicks.

Facebook wedding invitations - yay or nay?

Does anyone still receive actual wedding invitations in the mail anymore?

Way back when, it wasn't unusual for people (or their parents) to actually go house to house to deliver their (kid's) wedding invitations, especially if it's relatives living nearby or neighbours (duh). Faraway relatives? Postal service.

Now people are cutting out the middlemen (or basically, the postman) and in an effort to "be green" (or save some money, take your pick) by doing the inviting on Facebook.

I've been poking around etiquette sites and other articles about this, and they mostly say it's fine when it comes to engagement announcements and "save the dates", but not the actual invitation, which I agree for the most part. Are they trying to put the card making people out of business? The etiquette mavens (Miss Manners, Emily Post, etc) still don't have much on etiquette in the modern age, but Slate is trying with their Manners for the Digital Age podcast.

Besides, not everyone is on Facebook, especially if it's your first cousin twice removed and your elderly, non tech-savvy relatives - you still need to send them a proper invitation card.

If you want me to show up with a decent gift/angpow (for the Chinese wedding), the least you could do is to give me a proper invitation card - getting a bunch of people in one place to distribute the cards is still okay. Putting out feelers on Facebook to gauge how many people are available to attend is still not too bad, but getting tagged in an uploaded picture of your invitation on Facebook is NOT OKAY!!! You're just giving people a very good reason to untag themselves and save themselves the time and money by not attending, where you'll still need to follow up with them by other means anyway. Talk about insincere. Setting up a Facebook event page is still acceptable if you follow up with invitees afterwards.

It's only a matter of time before these same people will upload pictures of their wedding, where the rest of us are free to look through without having to be there in person :P

      MTV World Stage? Meh.

Having been to the first one at Sunway Lagoon a couple of years ago, being there in person is not really all that and here's why I would rather watch it on TV.
      1. You might be there for at least 12 hours - even though the event starts in the evening, but you might have been told to go "collect" your passes in the afternoon. This I have no idea why. Of course you COULD go later, but parking might be a bitch.
      2. It's a no booze event.
      3. Once you're in, they don't let you come and go as you please - you're pretty much stuck there. Which sucks if you're only there for the major act and not much else.
      4. Crazy overpriced food and drink - and you can't even bring your own water in, which I can understand, but still.
      5. Do you know how long it takes for the crew to set up the equipment for each act? At least an hour - they don't show this on TV for obvious reasons. If it rains - even worse.
      6. There's only so much of the World Stage ads and jingles that one can stand hearing and seeing in all those hours.
      7. Sure, you see the VJs on stage warming up the crowd, giving stuff away... but they're not baseball players, they can't throw the things to where you're standing if you're not in the moshing area.
      8. The major act that they've been pimping for the last month or so (this year being 30 Seconds to Mars) will probably come on after 11 p.m. That's why I didn't manage to stick around for Kasabian's set - I was too freaking exhausted to care.
If you are going (it's tonight at i-City Shah Alam), have fun anyway. But I think I'll probably watch a nicely produced version on TV later.

      Starbucks Malaysia Twitterlicious promotion

For this (work) week only, Starbucks Malaysia is having their Twitterlicious promotion, where they'll tweet a picture (which has details and a list of the day's selected stores) on their Twitter account (twitter.com/starbucksMY), and if you retweet it and show that (and the picture) to the barista at the day's selected stores, you can get a Grande-sized frappucino for half price for a predetermined length of time (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

This means one would need two things:
      1. A Twitter account, and
      2. A smart device... at least (I think?)

The response has been freaking hilarious to say the least - there are people on the Starbucks Malaysia Facebook page asking questions like "What is RT" and "Can I print out and show the picture?", etc.

People - if you don't have a smart device and/or not on Twitter, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!!! YOU DON'T DESERVE A HALF-PRICED GRANDE FRAPP!!

(Un)Fortunately for me, I only fulfill half the requirements and I think I'll puke if I have to pay for a Grande drink, even at half price.

      Oh well.

      Urbanscapes? Tak payah lah

This year's Urbanscapes (the all day creative arts festival) is going to be in PJ after being in KLPac for the last several years, which I was glad to hear at first. I've only been to last year's, which was a little meh for me personally.

Then there's the matter of ticketing. Last year I was dumb enough to buy an unnecesary ticket for the thing when all I did was check out the bazaar and makan areas and I didn't really buy that much then. I really don't give two shits about the performance part of the festival and have no intention to go. So getting a RM40 ticket just to enter and merely just check out the bazaar, food and drink on an open field is just plain highway robbery. If tickets were RM10 or less I might still consider, but RM40 is just a bit cekik darah when you take into consideration how many hundred or thousands of people that go annually.

Even the RM30 early bird price and also with this Groupon price (RM24 for a ticket), it's still a bunch of crock. I've got half a mind to boycott it entirely and not even bother going like I did years before last. Besides, I hate window shopping when hot and sweaty anyway.

I think I might give this a miss.

(That said, I would not say no to a pair of free tickets. I'm just saying.)

Two Reasons Why I Refuse to Watch Kung Fu Panda 2

So the sequel to Kung Fu Panda is already out and I refuse to watch it under any circumstances. (Yes, I was reluctant in watching the first one).

      1. I hate Jack Black - 'nuff said. (Also, refer to my list of people I wouldn't watch)
      2. The first one offended my inner Chinese person and the Chinese culture.

All those people are never getting my money.

      A&W's XXX-tra Long Porn-y Dog (SFW)

I've no idea what A&W (or whoever the ad agency is) were thinking, but this is just wrong. Seriously.

An extra long Coney Dog? Really? Do we really need the triple-x superlative for it? It's phallic enough as it is, there really is no need to emphasize the porn-iness of it as well.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the Coney Dog and I usually order it when I'm at an A&W outlet (yes, even with my issues with the diced onions on top), but I don't think I'll be getting this unless I never want to have it again in my life.

Oh cinnamon, how I hate you so

Today is Chap Goh Meh and since it just rained, I'm not sure how the turnout for the orange tossing-for-a-mate is at the moment. But tonight I'm not gonna rant about oranges, oh no - today I'm gonna go bat shit crazy on... CINNAMON.

I hate cinnamon - the smell, taste..., everything about it. Well, perhaps not the aesthetic of cinnamon sticks because that can't be helped.

Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum Verum) and Indones...Image via Wikipedia

I don't know why I hate it so - I just do. But it must be hereditary, because it turns out my mother doesn't like it as well. I should be glad that it's cinnamon and not kaffir lime (limau purut), like HER mother or else it's hard to enjoy tom yam soup already.

Because of this, there are some stuff that I don't eat (even if present in trace amounts) like cinnamon buns (DUH), apple pie, and Indonesian layer cake - they all REEK of cinnamon. Another mistake I won't make anytime soon is to order a cup of chai (or masala) tea. If there's cinnamon in it, I won't have it.

I even go around past places that sell cinnamon buns whenever possible, that's how adverse I am to the spice.

Oh come on, I can't be the only one...

      My Love/Hate for KLPac

KLPAC (short for KL Performing Arts Centre) is located at Sentul Park on Jalan Strachan (off Jalan Ipoh) "is a not-for-profit company dedicated to the practice of traditional and contemporary performing arts, as well as education and community outreach." (from the website)

What I love about KLPac and Sentul Park
      • The picturesque quality - it's such a pretty place (especially the surrounding park area), it's become a stop for bridal photography.
      • The drive from the main road to KLPac itself - a scenic drive, if I may say so myself.
      • The architecture of KLPac.
      • KLPac's Pentas 1, especially the comfy, colourful seats. That alone is a reason why I prefer KLPac over Lot 10.
      • I'm surprised that I can still make it to night shows at all, early even. As long as it's not in the middle of downtown...
What's a bitch about KLPac and Sentul Park
      • The speed bumps on the long stretch from the guard house to the tiny roundabout - I know you don't want people speeding on that stretch, but still.
      • It's a freaking long walk from the guard house to KLPac, whether it's during the day (when it's too hot or wet), or at night (where it's too dark and poorly lit).
      • No direct train access - unless you're talking about the Sentul station on the KTM route where it's only open around Thaipusam, and even then it's no stroll to get to KLPac.
      • I can't even go by public transport even if I wanted to from PJ - I still have to drive.
      • Don't get me started on the parking situation, especially during major events.

      It Gets Better Project

I've heard about the It Gets Better Project as a fan, listener and reader of Dan Savage, the guy who started the project as a response to the cases of gay teen suicide in America. I'd mention the project earlier, but it might be over the heads of what few readers I get here. I've been wondering if anyone from Malaysia was going to post a "It Gets Better" video on that site and apparently someone already did.

So some other Malaysians are also posting their own videos unto YouTube at the seksualitimerdeka channel (check it out). But the biggest reaction any one video got so far is from Azwan Ismail, a Malay Muslim man professing his sexual preference in Bahasa Malaysia for the whole world to see. The man is brave for putting it out there. And the douchebag comments are still coming in. Don't worry, the video has English subtitles.

I don't get the outcry about this video: of course there are gay people in Malaysia (especially in the theatre community, I'm just saying) - even among the Muslim population, but it's on the implied side of things. People that think there aren't are idiots. There also used to be cross-dressing, queer, effeminate Malaysians on TV a long time ago, which I'm reminded of thanks to Amir Muhammad's piece.

There's a lot of hot air on the Internet from other Muslims spouting stuff that Christian religious nuts say in the West - that they're gonna burn in hell, etc etc. Well, those people are idiots and assholes themselves. And shouldn't watch GLEE and musical theatre.

I personally don't have this kind of deep-seated issues against gay people and homosexual relationships - if they've found someone to love who loves them back, good on them. Really. I may or may not have a meaningful relationship in my lifetime, but it doesn't mean gay people should be denied the same.

Azwan, the rest of us are okay that you're gay.

PS. Yes, I actually know Azwan - he's a nice guy, regardless of his sexual orientation. Did I know? Yes - my gaydar was functional, but as it is in Malaysia, it went without saying.

      McD's Prosperity Burger... AGAIN?!

When I saw that McDonalds' Prosperity Burger is back, my first question was, "AGAIN?!"

Special wallpaper from the Facebook page - I don't want this on my computer desktop, mocking me on a daily basis

For years, it's known as the Chinese New Year burger because it's usually only available before and around the CNY period.

It's only a couple more months before CNY, and they're pushing this out already? Really?! Or are they doing it for Christmas as well? It seems like it's out sooner every year.

Either way, I'm not having it. I'm more excited about the curly fries and drink than I ever will be about the burger.

Acmamall.com - Decent customer service, sucky delivery of goods

Acmamall.com recently had this Facebook promotion where you can their coupon code to get 32% discount for book purchases as well as free shipping in Malaysia.

So fine. I bought a coffee table book that I wanted to get with the code.

My order was supposedly despatched on 22 October, but nothing. I've called customer service the day before the long weekend to ask what happened. Apparently they recently changed the hub from Malaysia to Singapore and that my order would be arriving from Singapore. I was told to call again if I've not received it last week. With the looming long weekend, it was just a stupid idea and so I waited until the following week (which is to say, THIS week).

So fast forward to this week - zilch. I emailed them about it (profanity-free), as well as called customer service (again) today. I guess they had to cut costs so badly that they used NORMAL POST to send my book, which has no tracking. FML. The last time I ordered a book from them, it least arrived via courier service. And I at least have gotten books from the other side of the planet. But Singapore? Really?! It's not that far leh!!

I haven't had the best of luck receiving anything non-registered by post lately - do I blame the post office, the postman, or customs? - and was told that I'd be refunded if I didn't get my book by the end of THIS week.

I just might take them up on it, mark my words.

3 Things That Piss Me Off at Book Clearance Sales

One of the things I like about my hometown of PJ are the book clearance sales - they are a reason why I haven't really paid retail price for books for ages. But every time I go to one of these things, I notice the same behaviours that really piss me off and here they are - the rest of you are on notice.
      1. Small kids and strollers - Please don't bring them.

Look - small children are a nuisance at warehouse sales in general, not just the book related ones. I don't think being jostled around by strangers or the noise, the dust and the crowds is their cup of tea. I blame the parents. Small children also take up space - I must have bumped or knocked into at least one kid from time to time and I probably got the stink eye from the parent, but never noticed. For fucks' sake, also don't bring the damn strollers with you to the sale area, they're a bigger waste of space than the kids. Leave them in the car.

If you want to bring your young kids, either keep them by your side or else just leave them at home - not just for their sake, but for everyone else's.

      2. Don't put your haul on the other books on display.

I know you have a shit load of books that you want to buy and you don't want to put them on the ground while you keep on browsing cos they might get (gawdforbid) DUST on them, but the rest of us are browsing too, you douchebags - and we might want to buy those books that you're denying us visual of and damaging them when you do that.

So take the box/basket/bag of books off the other books on the table/floor and put it by your feet. Kick the box around if you have to, they don't feel anything.

      3. Slow pokes.

You might recognise these people: you're eyeballing titles, and suddenly the person in front of you stopped moving and picks up a book, reading not just the back cover, but also at least a few chapters before finally deciding to take it. These people are slowing you down.

If you cannot decide whether to get the book, just step aside while you're deliberating and let the rest of us keep going.
Don't blame me if I get all passive-aggressive if you piss me off at a book sale - you've been warned.

Gerard Butler must stop making rom-coms

Someone asked me awhile ago if I would rather watch Gerard Butler in the action/drama role or in the rom-com role. I flat out said I would rather watch him kick butt hands down. I have no idea who in their right mind would prefer him in the rom-coms.

This might have something to do with me not girly enough for these things and hating the romantic comedy movie "genre", but seriously, Gerard Butler needs to stop making dumbass romantic comedies. It's fine for Patrick Dempsey and Katherine Heigl, but not for the guy who we all know could pull off the action/dramatic roles. (Sort of.) The man is like the Scottish Jason Statham - in the sense that he usually manages to keep his accent in movies.

Much as I like the guy and would watch whatever he's in, but come on - I personally draw the line at these dumbass movies because I would not even CONSIDER thinking about watching, let alone actually GOING to watch it.

It's not like people don't appreciate the effort he's put into getting in shape for the role - anyone still remember the 300 movie poster? Exactly.

That said, I don't have a problem with the guy voice acting in the animated movies, it's just that I wouldn't exactly pay to watch those movies too.

Why I don't give a crap about GLEE

I get that people like it and find the show entertaining, but it's also literally not my cup of tea. Besides, I already have a buttload of shows I would rather catch up on if I am not already following diligently on a weekly basis. I don't have the time and the energy. I also notice that people who watch and like GLEE don't really have much else to watch. 'Nuff said. :P

While I like my TV, but I have my limits - one of them being that I refuse to watch young 20 to 30-something adults play teenagers on the screen. That's just not realistic, even though most white people look older than they actually are. Or any show about high school or high school students. I just don't have the patience to sit through it - my own adolescence was more than enough, thank you very much. I don't need watch other people's fake on-screen high school experience for the sake of entertainment.

I get Ryan Murphy wanting to do a light, cheery show after nip/tuck, which was the polar opposite of GLEE, but STILL..

And I don't do well with anything where people spontaneously burst into song, either. It just annoys the shit out of me after awhile.

Glancing through the LONG list of songs they've covered on the show so far, I don't recognise them, at least not until I hear them. I'm sort of dreading the episode when they do Coldplay ever since Coldplay finally gave them permission to the rights, but I'm also pretty damn curious at the same time. That's the extent of my interest in GLEE.

I swear, if I have to hear that damn Journey cover just ONE MORE TIME... *shake fist*

      Ubiquity of Facebook

Facebook is so ubiquitous that everyone and their grandparents are on it.

Man, it came a long way from being available to students with American college email addresses in 2004/2005 to where it is now. I can't remember the pre-game and -application Facebook anymore, or what my profile or wall looked like back in the day, it evolved that fast.

It's still okay when you're under 40 and on Facebook, but when there are people over 40... hmm. I guess it's great that parents are embracing technology and is on Facebook playing the same games their kids are (haha)... just as long as your own parents are not on it. Cousins are fine, it's the generation above that one should be worried about. All this is so new there really isn't a definite social networking etiquette, so it's still a little murky.

I'm not complaining that mine aren't on Facebook, but it doesn't mean I don't have aunts and uncles who aren't on the bandwagon - I've only ONE uncle so far, but that's about it. And I've limited the access as a CYA move. Do not add your mum/aunt/auntie if you can help it, especially if they live anywhere near you.

[You should check out Oh Crap. My Parents Joined Facebook - hilarious.]

To the parents - I get that your friends and contemporaries are not tech savvy and might not have Facebook accounts, but padding your Friends list with the kids, nieces and nephews... really?! And I still think it's weird adding your kids' friends or your friends' kids, whether you've met them before or not.

You should check out the latest episode of South Park, You Have 0 Friends, which pokes fun (pun kind of intended) at Facebook, Chatroulette and the ridonkulousness of it all. It even went Tron-like towards the end when Stan gets sucked in by his more powerful profile.
