Week 29, 2018

Weather - hot as balls, even at night, making it hard to sleep without air conditioning. Local clinic's been packed, making parking a bitch most mornings.
  • A Rugrats revival is in the works.
  • A lot of buzz about having school kids switch from white to black school shoes. What's gonna happen to all the unsold white shoes then?
  • Great, they're finally opening a new passenger terminal at Seletar Airport end of the year, like the Subang airport of the south. So far it's only Firefly moving it's Singapore operations there. Airport fees might be cheaper than Changi's when it moves there, but the lack of public transport options in the area is disturbing (and no connection to Changi).
  • Demand on the URL used to check for Unifi speed upgrade eligibility was so overwhelming, they're now just emailing people if they qualify or not.
  • Huge document of items exempted from SST is available if you need something to put you to sleep. In case anyone's curious, sanitary supplies are exempt, so yay for half the population...
  • SDCC being this week, a lot of first peeks, trailers, etc have slowly made their way to the hoi polloi.
  • Took about a month for my Book Depository order to finally reach me.
  • Finished an e-book I forgot I had this week.
