Oy vey, can the titles go any longer in this franchise? I might've just jinxed myself if there's ever gonna be a next movie in this franchise.
Got a ticket to see this for the AC, and boy, did my wish came true cos the row I was in was right under the AC blast.
- The whole German Azkaban (Erkstag) breakout scene is hilarious AF. The hip swivelling alone is worth the price of admission. Also love a good Teddy and Pick action sequence.
- Everywhere in the world there's always gonna be a wizard town with a secret entrance #iykyk
- If I didn't know any better, the only reason Theseus the brother is in on the plan is as Newt's security? (Let's face it - Newt is not much of a duel-er). I mean, how did Newt do in his Defence against the Dark Arts lah?
- Ezra Miller grew out all the hair he wasn't allowed to this whole franchise? Also kinda looks like proto-Snape LOL
- Credence being Albus's nephew makes more sense than another brother.
- Love all the Portkeys.
- Nice to see Jessica Williams has more to do in this than in the last one. But the woman keeps switching up the accents; one scene she's American, next she use English accent. If I didn't know she was an Illvermorny (American Hogwarts) professor, I would've been heck more confused. But her character is kinda bad ass in this one.
- What's with all the downward spiral secret prisons in movies? The German Azkaban reminds me of the prison from the Dark Knight franchise... you know the one.
- That battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald after the blood pact broke is about as homoerotic as it's gonna get in this franchise. Some more it was illegal to be gay in England those days leh.
- I thought Dumbledore was gonna Apparate away to black, not walk to black..
- Makes sense that the new Mugwump might've had something to do with overturning the rule that Muggles/No-Maj cannot marry a wizard/witch. I also can't recall that you can just simply undo another person's Unforgivable Curse? Just me?
- Does this make Jacob and Queenie the first officially recognised witch/No-Maj couple allowed to marry?
