When I first heard that it's another one of those 3+ hour long Scorsese movies, watching it on a weeknight not exactly an option.
I went for the 11 a.m. screening of Killers of the Flower Moon, the movie was so long it was past 2 p.m. by the time I made it out of the cineplex. At least there were also other people in the room who were in on that ride with me too - not packed, but more than a dozen people for a Saturday morning screening.
- Knowing what you read about DiCaprio with regards to his love life, seeing him in this kinda made me LOL on the inside. #iykyk
- Yeah, the white guys marrying the rich Osage women is mad sus la
- At least Mollie is aware that he's also into her for her family's money? All said, DiCaprio's character in this movie is dumb as bricks.
- I knew the cast was stacked, but the glorified cameos all came tumbling in in the third act.
- I was really hoping to see Mollie punch or slap Ernest at some point in this movie, but alas...
- The epilogue in the form of a live radio program is like a true crime podcast live show of today? Bit of an interesting choice for a segue out of that, I guess.
- Even back then, the feds also rode around in same-y black cars LOL
- Also... back then got Native American BOI agents ah?
