Because I didn't have that much planned, decided to go to an early(ish) screening of The Marvels at 3 Damansara. It's a bit of a relief to watch a movie in 2023 that's not over 2 hours long, and this one didn't need to be any longer, let's be honest. I'm also glad that they didn't chuck this on Disney+, which they probably could've.
- I'm a touch annoyed that you have to at least know what went down in multiple Disney+ miniseries to get some of the background story for this movie. You could also find out what went down cos there's also plenty written about them, but still. You need to have seen Ms Marvel (Kamala), WandaVision (Monica), and I guess Hawkeye, or at least know that those shows were a thing.
- I'm with Fury - how did Goose reproduce? That scene with Goose and the offspring is adorably hilarious, I can't even. "Not my good eye!" LOL #iykyk
- OMG did they really blinged up her diastema?
- I guess what happened with Monica at the end would be a way to drive the multiverse concept more?
- Aladna was hilarious AF... but also, is it inspired by Mamma Mia!?
- Kamala's family was adorably amusing.
- There's no way they got Kelsey Grammer in all that hair and makeup for a cameo. No way.
