Argyelle

Almost forgot that Argyelle was already out, and as a sucker for the Kingsman movies, why not. 

Decided on a pretty last minute 11 a.m. screening at the second home. By the time I got to my seat, Dua Lipa's glorified cameo was coming to an end because I overestimated how long the ads were gonna run. (In my defence, they're normally at least 15 - 30 minutes long). But rest of the movie was still enjoyable; the whole place cracked up laughing through a lot of it, and so did I. 

• It was nice to see a fuller figured Bryce Dallas Howard in a movie like this, giving the rest of us some hope?
• Those two carried the movie pretty good, considering. 
• Have I mentioned how much I love a fun fight choreography? The fight sequences were entertaining to watch, probably because there was minimal blood spatter, so great for the squeamish. 
• Any cat person would say that Claudia Schiffer's cat was MVP la. Or asshole, as cats also tend to be.
• Was I hallucinating, or did they use this song in that last major set piece in the third act? Love that it was such a goofy use of the song, despite it always making me choke up even now, listening to it again.  
• I dunno how much both Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell did their own stunts, but also, props to their stunt doubles, cos, hot damn. I imagine there's gonna be some harness work going on too..
• Dude brought back some people for this, like Sam Jackson and Sofia Boutella 

It's a January/February popcorn movie release, you know what's gonna happen next, you see the twists coming, and you don't care. If you enjoyed the Kingsman films, you should check this one out, since they're practically trying to make it a whole film universe.
