Getting there from where I was staying wasn't too hard - it was a short bus ride down (less than 10 minutes?) and alighted somewhere near Raffles City mall (church across the street). Taking the train would've taken too long and it was just a station away or something like that.
Had dinner at London Fat Duck, located in a lower basement level of Raffles City mall. The duck was okay, I guess, but it was basically sitting on a bed of white rice with only duck sauce for seasoning. (This is why I tend to stay away from regional food in Singapore).
But still cheaper than finding something to eat at the adjoining Capitol Building/Piazza besides Tiger Sugar.
The Capitol Building was located diagonally across from the mall. By the time I was done with dinner, it was already 7 something and I thought I might as well make my way to the show. Didn't really have time (or energy) to explore the rest of the area. Maybe next time.
There were people to scan barcodes on tickets and the bag check was pretty painless... after I had to dump the empty single use bottle drink I bought earlier.
Turns out the dress section of this place was actually balcony seating, so was told by the usher to take the lift to the 3rd floor. Luckily there was free Wi-Fi inside the theatre space, or else I would've either been bored stupid or had taken a nap because it was so nice and cool inside. I was the only solo with three couples in my row. Unlike the other ladies, my arms were covered so I didn't really feel the cold. But otherwise, the show didn't sell out, so there were empty seats in the house.

Jinx Yeo was the warm up comic and he did about 15, 20 minutes? I always find the guy funny, so no complaints from me. You should watch him if you haven't.
Jim came on around 8.30 p.m. and I never realised that one hour of his brand of comedy was pretty long. He did touch on the cross border chicken rice feud between Malaysia and Singapore and also the fact that he and his family (wife and FIVE KIDS) were staying at Marina Bay Sands before going into the rest of his material that's (I'm guessing) he's been tweaking for his next special. I enjoyed myself.
He did about an hour, maybe 70 minutes? When he finished it was about 9.30 p.m. and I took the chance to bus it to Mustafa Centre and back to the hotel before the buses stop running.
