Took the day off to, for the most part, watch Oppenheimer, in an effort to chip away at the accumulated PTO.
Only decided to watch it at Pyramid just so I can use the racked up points to pay nothing for the prepaid parking in the app, also the first screening of the day was before 11 a.m.. I also finally used up the racked up TGV points to redeem a ticket, so that I could splurge on a popcorn. I forgot how much the regular caramel popcorn sucked, it's been that long. It took so long to get the damn popcorn, I was just in time for the start of the movie. There's probably fewer than a dozen people in the whole place on a Tuesday morning.
Going in, I remember a lot of the names of the major physicists (either from Physics class or some history course) like Bohr, Heisenberg (before Breaking Bad), etc.
- Wah, the cast for this movie is damn stacked ah - so many Oscar winners and nominees all.
- After years of Cillian Murphy playing non-lead characters in numerous Nolan movies, dude finally gets to be a lead in a Nolan movie. Woo.
- Did not recognise Josh Hartnett in this at all.
- There should be a WWII-set movie where Gary Oldman plays both Truman and Churchill or something LOL (cos he was Churchill in Darkest Hour)
- Yah, very easy to shave a minute off the run time.
- Haven't Emily Blunt and Matt Damon played a couple on screen before?
- Yep, got the CGI dress here
I don't hate it, but I don't like it enough to want to watch it again.
