More filler

1. Downloading whatever albums and stuff I could find of Explosions in the Sky, just to see what the fuss is about. From the few tracks I've heard so far, they're not bad lah. Will stop here until I hear the rest of it in future.
   
2. Promised this Bookcrosser in Aruba my copy of Ha Jin's In The Pond, which in all fairness, was Available according to my Bookcrossing shelf as part of a trade [for his copy of Stephen Colbert's I Am America! (And So Are You)], but I haven't been able to find it (I thought I had it) as I wasn't sure if it was: a) somewhere in the house, b) I lent it out to someone who hasn't returned it [not very likely], or c) I may have brought it to a meetup, it got picked up by someone who hasn't journalled it. If it doesn't turn up soon, I might have to offer an alternative title to the guy.
   
3. My new wallet is at the post office - though I expect that I might have some trouble due to a brain fart (on both parties) as it's not addressed to me directly. Not sure how I'm gonna deal with it when I collect it later today.
   
4. More exhausted than usual. Damnit.
   
5. In case I didn't mention it, reading wise I was done with Stephen Fry's Paperweight, and am now on Philippa Gregory's The Boleyn Inheritance (the sequel to The Other Boleyn Girl).
6. Potentially busy Saturday: will be getting rid of the extra chair (hopefully) in the morning, meetup in Pavilion in the afternoon and mamak with the usual suspects in the evening.
   
7. Saw the 2 hour (80 minutes commercial-free) backdoor pilot of the Knight Rider remake that my bro downloaded. Don't really like the look of the new KITT all that much and I'm no fan of Val Kilmer's voice, but the features are shit cool, nonetheless. New Rider only so-so looking; apparently was one of those soap opera guys. So's the love interest. Hmm. Too bad Will Arnett tak jadi as KITT's voice.
   
8. Weather getting warmer. Damn.
   
9. There are more stray cats than humans now. Damn.
   
10. Membership of my Amazing Race Asia group on Facebook's exploded since the second season started - from less than 20 people during the first season to (at present) 468 people. Even some of the Season 2 contestants are there.
