Malaysia finally has Krispy Kreme on its shores. Woo.
But in one of the most la la malls in all of downtown KL. Seriously.
Berjaya Times Square is the biggest gathering place for la las I've ever come across.
It's too expensive to park there, and if I ever go there by public transport I had to take 2 trains to get there, not worth the trip in this horrendous hot weather.
Suffice to say, it's not high on my list of malls to hit.
When the opening was announced some weeks ago and the stakes involved, I knew taking a day off for donuts is stupid and also not worth wasting the paid leave. I'm not even that big a fan of donuts.
Read in the papers that a group of 17 year olds from Kuala Langat (or was it Ulu Langat?) were the first six people in line since Saturday evening. Talk about nothing better to do.
As it is, I'll wait for the frenzy to die down first before I'll considering going all the way down there. I've waited about 3 years for Krispy Kreme Original Glazed donut, and I can wait some more until the one in Midvalley opens or they open one in 1U, haha....
