Week 29, 2009

  • Reread Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before the movie comes out next week.

  • Started on Palahniuk's latest novel, Pygmy, on audiobook. Pretty funny (in the ironic sense) so far. The promo video on the Amazon page is also pretty amusing :)

  • PM Najib's 100th day in office Saturday.

  • Science and math now back to being taught in Malay. Oh well.

  • Packed away the last of the tee shirts I've bought at gigs and what not US-days into storage bags - don't have the heart to wear them out too much.

  • Hollywood is about to butcher yet another touching, enduring tale of Asian origin - the tale of Hachiko the dog - Hachiko: A Dog's Story, where Richard Gere plays the professor.

  • The biggest celebrity spectacle known as the MJ memorial service happened earlier in the week.

  • Bought a Gorillapod for RM68, which is RM20 cheaper than getting it in Jusco :P and slightly cheaper than getting it directly from the website.

  • Dinner buffet at uncle's place Friday night.

  • Didn't do a lot of shopping this weekend as I anticipate hitting the malls this coming week. Feel fat as a result.

  • Mum's birthday Sunday - went to Shiok Kopitiam in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong cos Mum read about the place in the Sunday Star and wanted to try their 12 varieties of chicken chop dishes.
