Things I do for cheap shelving

Took Tuesday off because I can and because I wanted to get cheap wall shelves (black LACK wall shelf was going for RM55 each as one of their Christmas advent deals) for the book overspill and because of the Sherlock Holmes screening later that night, I couldn't go after work if I didn't. It was a happy kawinky-dink.

Initially thought about parking at The Curve, but the prospect of lugging shelves across the street without a cart is not what I had in mind. So I didn't. But the guards wouldn't let me wheel the cart to the car parked on one end of the parking lot, so I had to move the car and repark somewhere else. (Yes, they'll keep an eye on your cart while you get your car). At least I got better parking the second time round.

Wasn't sure if I just wanted to get one or more (just in case), so I bought two. Just in case. Shelf itself only came with the bottom screws when it needed about 5 more because it wasn't supposed to be attached by brackets. Also got screws just in case.

After getting my parking ticket validated (free 2 hours parking) at the cashier, I wasn't too sure if I had a lot of time to spare. Not that it mattered, because there wasn't much I wanted to do there anyway.

So I left after lunch and getting a pint of Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream at Cold Storage which was going for RM26 instead of the usual RM30 price tag.
