Burt's Bees at The Curve, Earth Day Carnival in Ikano

Hopped on the free bus at 10 a.m. to Ikano because I didn't feel like driving there, what more the petrol and parking cost. Okay, I wanted to check out the Earth Day Carnival at Ikano, but I had a couple of hours and knew I could do that before leaving, so I wandered around elsewhere.

At 10 something in the morning, it was pretty peaceful - reminds me of my college-going, mall rat-ting days.

Wandered around The Curve and I saw a Burt's Bees store right outside the interior entrance of the Borders store, so checked it out out of curiousity.

The only Burt's Bees product I know of is the lip balm, which I've seen in MN back in the day but never tried because the signature ones contain Vitamin E, which I suspect I'm allergic to.

Right away I was attended to by Kelly, who asked if I knew of the brand. Told her what I knew, and she explained some of the other products to me, which was interesting. Whether I'll ever buy anything from there is uncertain... since I just found out the Clorox Company owns Burt's Bees... hmm.

Anyhow, loads of interesting stuff to see at the Earth Day carnival, only thing I bought (really) was a Mell Basics short tube that I had been meaning to try anyway before hopping on the 12.30 p.m. bus home.
