Saw in yesterday's papers that The Chicken Rice Shop was celebrating their 10th anniversary by giving away 100 free lunches at noon with the first 50 people in line getting gift bags at all their outlets.
So the sibling and I spent less than an hour in line at the one in Giant Mall lining for free chicken rice. Yes, we got swag, nothing that I really wanted anyway.
I've never had chicken rice from The Chicken Rice Shop before because paying over RM5 for a plate is ridiculous. The chicken portion I got nor the presentation might not have been ideal (got the wing, damnit), but the rice wasn't too bad.
