Drove over the Midvalley in the afternoon with a couple of people yesterday and WTF - parking at both Midvalley and The Gardens were almost full on a THURSDAY AFTERNOON. Not a public holiday Thursday, but a workday Thursday. Never mind the designated parking for the people working in the area, but really?! The only explanation I could think of would be that people are taking time off to shop for Raya? No idea lah. This is why I usually go there in the morning instead of the afternoon. Oh well, now I know.
Parked at a different parking zone for the first time, which led us up all the way to the rooftop and a spiral walk down one floor to the nearest elevator. A first time for everything.
I also went back to a fish spa in a few years, mainly one branch of a Singaporean franchise that started the craze here. Got 10% discount with the Robinsons Card, haha... and I sat there, feeding the smaller fish the dead, peeling skin that's been driving me nuts for weeks now. My feet don't look too bad now as a result. Yes, I left the companions to their own devices while I was feeding the fish.
After that, redeemed a free sample (sachet) of Clinique's new Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle & Photo Damage Corrector at the Jusco counter from the usual SA whom I've gotten a little chummy with than the ones closer to home. When asked how to see photo damage, her reply? "Take photo, then see the damage lor!" Hilarious woman.
Found the kaki at MPH and had a doughnut each at Krispy Kreme (which neither of them knew was there, let alone lepak there) before making our way back to The Gardens and left before rush hour. (I did tell them I wasn't gonna be there that long).
