So the brand spanking new SStwo Mall is finally open... you know, in the dusty (from the construction) and half-empty sort of way. Well okay, it was a soft opening.
Entrances aren't too bad - there's the front and back entrances, but entering the mall once you parked your car is still infuriating cos there isn't much signage from the parking lot into the mall. And not every entrance from the parking lot leads to a mall - I found a staircase where I had to go up a flight of stairs to gain access into the mall. Yes, parking is free at the moment.
The floor is also crazy slippery for my Ipanemas - either they need to lay off the wax or I need a new pair of slippers.
If Times Bookshop didn't have their opening warehouse sale there, I wouldn't have gone until later, but I did. I also renewed my Times membership (RM10 for 2 years) at the newly opened outlet upstairs, the only outlet in PJ now.
Some of the F&B franchises like Uncle Lim's, Secret Recipe and Killiney are open, with more to follow. No sign of a Starbucks.
I wouldn't travel all the way yet, though. Wouldn't bother. Wait till later.
