I spotted another waxing deal (RM50 for Smoothies Wax + additional discount on bottom leg and underarm waxing) at A-Listers Waxing & Beauty Salon a few weeks ago on Dealshelve, a place I had previously heard about but had never been before. They have outlets in Centrepoint Bandar Utama and Sunway Giza. Because I hate the traffic situation around Sunway Giza, no prizes for guessing which outlet I decided to go with.
I didn't know where the shop is beforehand as I hardly go to Centrepoint (driving past it from the second home doesn't exactly count), but as Centrepoint is a small place, it didn't take too long to find A-Listers on my own. Parking at Centrepoint is also free after 6 p.m. on weekdays, as well as weekends and public holidays - AND I can also use my ONECARD as it's a Bandar Utama property as well.
It's a small shop (one room for the threading, and a more private room for waxing). While I was waiting for my turn (I was early, and the waxer was working on someone else), I saw some interesting stuff they also have for sale...

I did take a picture of services and their prices, but now I know that their Smoothies wax (aka the Hollywood/all off) is "RM90 and above" (I guess it means the more hirsute you are, the more you pay). I asked about the dye and the waxer (whom I guessed was probably the proprietress) said that it's mostly Eurasian women that are buying them.
I guess the waxer was in an even bigger hurry than me to leave (which she did, right behind me) as I literally stripped down right in front of her (she was going to see everything eventually, might as well be sooner than later) while she got everything ready. The waxing experience was not too bad (she used both hard and soft wax and I was distracted by the nice wallpaper in the room and flip around once), but she missed some hairs. Anyhow, she was pretty nice, chatty and not-so pushy (they didn't even take down my details), this place will go on the "maybe" list.
I also bought a 10ml serum for preventing ingrown hair for RM35. See how that goes.
