Bored to death with the acts local promoters are bringing in; which I understand why because of the politics (PUSPAL, sponsors, banning, etc) and also the ease of cost recouping, but really, they're not doing a really good job of getting my money.
Though I saw Muse, Mogwai and The Cranberries in KL, but there was no way Coldplay, Aqualung or even anyone else I want to see would come here, like EVER.
So here's a list of acts that I have yet to catch, whether here or overseas (and by that I mean Singapore :P)...
- Radiohead - Top of the list. For the usual reasons.
- Sigur Ros - with them only stopping in Singapore THIS November, this might be my only shot of seeing them. Ideally I would want to see them in their homeland of Iceland, but... oh well.
- Travis - even though I didn't care for that last album... or two.
- Mew
- James Blunt - I know he's stopped by Singapore a few times now, but I've just been lazy/timing, etc.
- 30 Seconds to Mars - Have to get over shouty Jared Leto first.
- Franz Ferdinand - even though I've only really liked their self-titled debut album.
- Garbage - Wouldn't mind. Like their stuff as a 90s child.
- Snow Patrol
- The Fray - why not?
