Came across DealsOnlyWebStore.com as I was shopping around for a bath towel-sized travel towel. Other people like electronic tech gadgets, I like this kind of thing, what can I say?
I've checked the camping/outdoor/sporting stores closest to me - they mostly carry Sea to Summit towels and not quite in the dimensions I want - the Large was long enough, but not wide enough; I also refuse to pay 3 digits for the next size up. So I looked around at other brands. The one store I found that does carry Outgo (as it's now known) is in Sri Kembangan, which is a bit far for me personally.
I had the McNett Ultra Compact Microterry Towel on my eBay watch list, until I decided to see if the eBay seller had a non-eBay online presence. There was. And then the thing I had been watching on eBay was their deal of the day at the time. With the cheapest international shipping being $3.99 (read: no tracking nor insurance, just lots of faith that Pos Malaysia will deliver it safely), I figured why not; didn't cost me 3 digits in the end, after conversion :PI also got one of these survival tool cards that they threw in for free as it was a "camping and outdoor" purchase. Really cute.
But I got this instead in the post this week - the Outgo Ultra-Compact Microfiber Towel. Frankly I have no idea if it's the same thing or not.
I don't know whether to say anything about it because the one I received cost more than the one I ordered, and I can't be arsed to pay for return shipping if asked to. Guess I'll keep it then. A review on the towel will have to wait until I actually road test it.
They don't just sell camping stuff - apparently they have a section where they sell prank and revenge stuff, some of which I didn't know exist.
