Curry Leaf Restaurant, Damansara Utama

No, I didn't have banana leaf rice twice in the same week - this was a couple weekends ago.

Saw this place under construction late last year and had only remembered to go check it out when we were already out and had wondered what to eat for lunch before actually going home. So what the heck - it's not too far away...

Apparently, it's originally from Seremban and this is their Klang Valley outlet. So we both decided to try the banana leaf rice since there's no roti for lunch (boo). You can choose from three types of rice (parboiled, usual white and biryani).

It's just me, but I'm already not a huge fan of tofu, aubergine or pumpkin (the pineapple was alright lah), so this selection of veg is not really a favourite for me. Curries were okay. The sibling liked it enough. He also ordered a piece of tandoori chicken, which had both dark and white meat (yay), nicely presented and tasted alright.

Would go back to try other stuff...
