If not for the so-called pseudo-holiday that is World Macaron Day, I would have no reason to step into TWG Tea at all. But a buy one, free one box of 6 macarons? Sign me up. I haven't heard a similar promo from other prominent local makers and sellers of macarons, so...
Because I had always walked past (but never walked in), I had no idea how much a box of six would cost... At RM5.50 each, RM33 for a box of six seems reasonable and average priced. I had to resist the urge to buy another box.

Since I was in the area I went to the TWG in Pavilion and according to the guy ringing up my purchase, I was the 4th person there for it; someone else had gotten TEN BOXES.
I dunno if it was because of the rough handling after I bought it, but the few I bit into was not only delicious, but really crumbly.
I wouldn't mind getting these again if a similar promo were to pop up again next year... just saying.
