Logan

Dragged myself to the second home early in the morning to catch an early bird (read: cheap) screening of Logan. Thankfully most of the violence and swearing was left in, but I don't know how tightly they're enforcing the no minors rule in the cinema because it's really violent. 

Also, it's over 2 hours long; hold off on the large drinks if you can help it, your bladder will thank you later.

• The Deadpool clip that's been making the rounds is not shown outside the US. However, there's other means of watching it, if you know what I mean...
• It can't be a coincidence that they're making a run for Canada... 😒
• Who knew Charles had such a potty mouth.
• How has Stephen Merchant not been cast as a mutant before? The man is just tall, gangly and awkward enough... 
• It's hard to unsee once you realise that from some angles, Dafne Keen kinda looks like Kendall Jenner. 
• Talk about Chekov's bullet.
• The last half hour is just... 😭

Given the press coverage about the movie, I don't know how dumb you would have to be if you expect both old farts to survive this movie... 😒

I've skipped third movies (in movie trilogies) before, but this I recommend watching: it's dark, gritty and not as cheesy.
