Last week to shop school supplies this week. Also, school orientation days happening this weekend. Living near TWO primary schools means that traffic around there for the next week or two is gonna suck because of parents.
Even without that, going to a mall (any mall) this week was a pain cos (I'm guessing here) a lot of people decided to clear their annual leave by taking this whole week off...?
- Christmas being on a Tuesday this week meant that a lot of people took Monday off for a long weekend. I didn't really do that even though I had the days to.
- Spent Christmas day at KLCC with the FTs. To be fair, I also found reasons to go there, but yeah, KLCC is normally full of FTs every major public holiday.
- Aaanndd they've started the CNY push already.
- Tiger Sugar finally announced that they're opening on New Year's Day in Pyramid. It's just as well I probably won't be in town that day...
- The one day I won't be in town, Cziplee announces their massive, 50th anniversary storewide sale on 31st December. Cis.
- One Mic Stand (country's longest running weekly open mic event) ending their 6 year run this week. They had a good run. I'm kinda curious to see what those guys are gonna do next.
- Crabtree & Evelyn closing shops globally and everyone is making a mad rush to buy up their remaining inventory. Even when it was open I hardly bought anything, so I certainly am not gonna buy anything now that they're going out of business.
- Managed to squeeze in one last movie this week - Bad Times at the El Royale. The other movies on the GSC International Screens roster in the coming months seem pretty good and might go watch them if I remember to.
- Bought a (re-released) second-gen Tamagotchi and finally took it out of the box this week.
- Is anyone really so surprised that the Will Ferrell and John C Reilly Holmes & Watson tanked? Really?!
