Parked at the usual spot for when I'm going to the KL Convention Centre (I could tell you, but I would have to kill you - PM me) and was there a few hours early so I could take a walk around KLCC before the show.
TL;DR - made it back to Plenary Hall with PLENTY of time to spare, so I spent most of the wait time when not playing solitaire on the phone, people watching to see who else came. Few local comedians showed up.
The show wasn't sold out, so the organisers were busy (not) discreetly moving people up front while the show was going on. They could've done it when both the opening acts were on, but oh well.
The show only started around 9 something and first act was Andy Curtain, who did ten minutes. Until he pointed it out and because I was seated pretty far back, I hadn't noticed his facial hair situation (google it). He also mentioned his Russian wife in his set.
If you listen to the Jim Jefferies Show podcast, then you would be familiar with Forrest Shaw, who works on the show, who went on next and did like half an hour (?)
For a guy who only just got to Malaysia about 3 hours prior, Jim Jefferies did an almost 2 hour set. If you listen to the show podcast, the one about his mother and the lounge chair saga would sound really familiar.
