Week 29, 2019

  • New season of Queer Eye, y'all!
  • Because it's SDCC this week, there's been a lot of news coming out of there with regards to the movies and shows coming down the pipeline. Of course Marvel Studios has announced some of their Phase 4 movies, happening until 2022.
  • Kingsman prequel The King's Man trailer is out. I'd go watch it next year.
  • First they announced an extensive, widespread water disruption exercise for most of next week, but because of some other issue, some areas already have their water supply disrupted on Friday. The only upside is that they've postponed the state (or Valley)-wide water disruption til further notice.
  • Here's something to keep track of for your next trivia quiz - Malaysia's voting age is now lowered to 18. They've also lowered the age for DUN-ship, etc to 18 as well. The automatic registration is also part of it, but still a WIP.
  • Everyone else was happily using and posting their FaceApp pictures... until it was revealed that the Russian developers have your photo in perpetuity or whatever. A privacy nightmare. Just as well that I never bothered with these things, so..
  • Who asked for a Nash Bridges revival?
  • This week I found out that Vanna White gets paid $4 million a year to work 4 days a month. Props to her lah
